Retrieve copied text and links on your Mac
You copy a link, then a paragraph. When you paste, you get the most recent copy. Clipappboard keeps a local history of the text and links it captures while running, so you can return to them later.
You will retrieve earlier texts and links and paste them into any app without going back to their original source.
Step by step
Open Clipappboard
Click the Clipappboard icon in the menu bar or use your configured shortcut (Shift-Command-V by default). You can change it in the app's settings.
Find the content
Type a word from the text or link into the search field. You can also apply a type filter to see only texts or only links; the free version applies one filter at a time.
Select and copy
Select the clip in the list and choose Copy. You can also press Enter or double-click the clip to prepare it for manual pasting afterwards.
Paste where you need it
Switch to the destination app and paste with Command-V. The content sits on the system clipboard like any other copy.
Try it with an example
For example, in the morning you copied the link https://example.com/guia-inicio and a paragraph of notes. In the afternoon you open Clipappboard, search for 'example.com', select the link, copy it, and paste it into an email.
Capture must be active and follows your privacy controls. History cannot recover content it never captured or clips you permanently deleted. Clips in Trash can be restored while they remain available.
